Creating impactful designs for a more compassionate world

As a designer, it’s not every day you get the chance to work with organizations that are truly changing the world. My work with Open Arms, Fundació Arrels, Top Manta, and Casal Lambda was a reminder of why I became a designer in the first place—not just to create, but to contribute to a cause larger than myself.

Each project allowed me to use my skills for something meaningful. I designed billboards and social media materials to amplify their powerful messages, whether it was Open Arms calling attention to the humanitarian crisis or Top Manta fighting for the rights and dignity of migrant workers in Spain. For Fundació Arrels, I helped shed light on homelessness in the city, while for Casal Lambda, I worked on raising awareness for the LGBTQ+ community and their needs.

What truly moved me throughout these projects was the sense of community and collaboration. Working alongside these organizations reminded me that when we come together, we can make a real difference. It was incredibly fulfilling to know that the designs I created weren’t just about looking good—they were a vehicle for social change, opening up dialogues, and hopefully inspiring others to take action.

Design has the power to make an impact, and these experiences taught me that when it’s rooted in purpose, it goes beyond aesthetics—it creates connections. I’m proud to have contributed in a small way to these incredible missions, and I truly believe that, as a global community, we are capable of much more if we support one another.
